Cost Estimate and Funding <br />For the purpose of discussions with affected r°stscitizens, a cost estimate will be developed <br />for the recommended strategy. It is the r,nli^., of the city of R Seville +h_+ +The following cost <br />sharing will occur with an approved traffic management strategy: <br />_City of Roseville will pay the cost of administrative work, traffic study and data collection_ <br />• If the traffic study requires expertise that is not available in house, the City may need to <br />hire a consultant to complete the traffic study. If this occurs, the cost for the study will be <br />incorporated into the 25/75 cost share described below. <br />• City of Roseville pays 25% of the construction and installation costs of major strategies <br />while the neighborhood affected will pay 75% of the cost (minor items such as <br />installation of a limited number of signs or painting of crosswalks and other pavement <br />markings would be assumed completely by the Cit onstruction costlftludes direct <br />engineering, legal and prole tration. <br />Costs associated with implementing traffic management strategies vary significantly from just <br />over $250 for installing a speed limit sign to $10,000 or more for a landscaped median <br />construction.
