Steven Grans,
I live at 1727 Victoria Street D., Roseville, I am two houses fxom the Park and Ride lot located
at North Como Presbyterian Church and live directly across the street from l oselawn Cemetery.
I must admit, I like the convenience of a close Park and Ride lot as I have attended the
Minnesota State Fair for over 50 years with my kids and now nay grandchilden. However, this
year has been especially trying! Due to an unfortunate accident I had to re-sod my entire yard
and also added an underground sprinkler system. Deedless to say this is a very costly investment
to my property! Every day of the Fair,, cars are parked in front of my property. The cars fill up
the Parr and bide lot at the church and then park on Victoria.Street and people walk to the
church lot to catch the bus. with cars parking on both sides of the street, people pull there cars
of the street as much as possible. and park on the grass. The street gets narrower with cars
parked on both sides and there is a lot of foot traffic in the street (including families with small
children, no sidewalls on Victoria Street) so it is dangerous to walk in the narrow street. with
the cars parking on my grass, I had to put stakes in the ground at the edge of my property and
string caution tape to keep cars off nay new sod! Yes, next year nay grass will not be brand new
and better established however, tire marks from cars parked every day does bill the grass, not to
mention the possible damage to the sprinkler heads near the street. I would much rather see
parking on only ONE side the street, the l oselawn Cemetery side when the Parr N Ride lot is
full. The ground on the cemetery side of the street is flatter, the lilac hedge running the length
of Victoria Street is set back from the street quite a bit, so there is a wider area for cars to pull in
and get off the street. Victoria side has a culvert running the length of the block and is quite
Page 18 of 19
