EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 22nd day of September, 1986 at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Demos, and the following were absent: Kehr, Cushman, Johnson. Matson, and Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 8030 In Recognition of Mayor June Demos' Service to the City of Roseville WHEREAS, June Demos, in 1963, began her Roseville civic involvement by serving on the Roseville Growth Citizen's Committee; and, WHEREAS, June has served as a School District 623 Board member, Planning Commission member, City Council member, and Mayor; and, WHEREAS, June has been a strong voice and advocate for and all municipal governments by service on Regional, National committees; and, Roseville State, and WHEREAS, June is highly respected as an elected representative of local government; and, WHEREAS, June has committed herself totally and with great integrity to the service of Roseville; and, WHEREAS, June's tireless efforts have enabled Roseville to become a better place to live and work; and, WHEREAS, June is a sterling example of the spirit of volunteerism that she so strongly advocates for all Roseville residents; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Roseville City Council, on behalf of its citizens, extends to Mayor June Demos its gratitude and appreciation for her distinguished and dedicated service. Adopted by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, this 22nd day of September, 1986. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Matson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Kehr, Cushman, and Matson, and the following voted against the same: None. Abstain: Demos. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
