<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, <br />Minnesota was duly held on the 13th day of October, 1986 at 7:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Cushman, Johnson, and Matson, <br />and the following were absent: Kehr. <br /> <br />I1ember Matson introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8032 <br /> <br />METROPOLITAN COUNCIL GRANT <br />FOR STATE FUNDING FOR <br />SUMMER ENTERTAINMENT SERIES, 1987 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville desires to seek a grant from the <br />Metropolitan Council for State funding to carry out Summer Enter- <br />tainment Series program which runs Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday <br />evenings in the Central Park Amphitheatre; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council requires that all grantees <br />authorize and specify by resolution of their governing body the <br />individual to apply for and execute the grant agreement on behalf <br />of the organization; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that James F. Andre, City <br />Manager, is authorized to apply for and execute on behalf of the <br />City of Roseville, a grant agreement with the Metropolitan <br />Council for Summer Entertainment Series 1987. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by member Cushman, and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Matson, and <br />Johnson, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted <br />this 13th day of October, 1986. <br />
