<br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered, into by, and between the County of Ramsey,
<br />Department of Public Works, hereinafter referried, to, as, the IlColunty", and the City of
<br />Ste Paul,, hereinafter referred, to as IISL Paul"', and the City of' Roseville, hereinafter
<br />referred to, as "Iii osevialle";

<br />publile's, best interest tol install traffic, control signals with street lights and 'Install
<br />emergenc ehicle pre-emption on Larplenteur Avenue (County State Aid Highway No.
<br />30) at, Dunlap Street,-, and

<br />WHEREASil, St., Paul and Roseville request and the, County agrees to provide an-
<br />Einiergency Vieltilcle Pre-emption System, hereinafter referred to as the IIEVP System",
<br />• a part of said, traffic control, signals with street lights min accordance with the terins
<br />and conditions hereinafter set forth,@ and,

<br />WHEREAS, the County, St. Paul and Roseville will participate in the cost,
<br />milaintenance and operation, of said traffic control signals with street lights and EVP
<br />System as hereinafter set forth; and
<br />The County shall prelpare the necesisary plans,, splecifications and proposals

<br />and sihall perform. the engineering, and inspection required to complete the Iterns of
<br />work hereinafter set forth. Siuch, w,orik as described immediately above shall constitute
<br />"Engineering and Inspection" and, siha,ll be so rieferred to hereinafter.

<br />Avenue at Dunlap Street. Estimated construction, cost, is $79,138,00. County's share

<br />Street. Esthnatied construction cost is $31,,796.00 wifich includes County furnished
<br />material and labor. , St. Pau ll's share is 5,0i.00 per cent. Rose-ville's share is 50-00 per
<br />cent
