It <br />t <br />is difficult, to make an effective presentation using suppor ing graphic <br />materials. <br />The approach to cabil�ecasiting is, a minimalistic one which provides <br />11 <br />little operator, control over the quality of the video, and au,di�o signals and <br />creative control over onl�y one camera. <br />Additional enh�an�cements would include monitoring capabilities in th,4Q-,, <br />lMbby area,, interconnection to th�e lower level community room (two-O <br />way), telephone teleconferencing, audi'ocassette and audio disc <br />0 lie <br />playback and m�eeti�n�g recorai i ng, <br />2a Improved systems for presentation of documents and, graphic <br />.-fiaterials in a meeti�n�g, should be installed. These would include a <br />0 V <br />television camera and monitor, system for di�splay of opaque and <br />1i 4 <br />transparency materials mi�c,rio-complutier based electronic grapinics <br />system. <br />The most aesithetically pleasing approach to the document camera would <br />be to mount th�e cam�eria, in the ceng above a de,si�gn�atied location for <br />di <br />a, presentation lectern/'table. (See Section IIII.) The presentation <br />41 d <br />lectern/table, would 1 1 nclude camera controls, and 11 1 ght controls for <br />overhead or, substage lightingi for opaque or trans p�a rien�c,y materials. <br />
