The street was recoinsitriuct,ed at 2,9 feet in order to save boulevard trees along the roadway. 'The res"dients of Albert Street feel strongly that the City should ider not applying the standard to this segment of Albert Street consi 3. and site the, following reasons why, we do not support F.1 Albeirt Street, is only one block long with low traffic volumesm 2. Restricted entrance into entire neighborhood and trafficked II primarily by residents only'. Neighborhood extends from B-2 to C and from Hamline to Snelling, There are only 3 streets that permit access to this area. Albert" Street is not one of these streets. 3. Infrequent to almost nonexistent use of on-street parking. Homes have large driveways providing for, adequate off street parking. i I Most dri,velwaysi can, accommodate six to eight vehicles. 4. We are le,x,triem,el,y and justif-iably concerned with aesthetics and iRroperity- values. Wiest side residents having to observe metal signs, in their front yards and east side residents having to view Pi parkield cars always, in, front of their homes. 5. Unneicesisary inconvenience placed on visitors to the residents with only being allowed to, park, on one side of the street. The residents on, our block of Norith Albert comprise a unit of riesponsiblie. and harldworkling citizens, dedicated to the upkeep of th i eir sizable real e§tatie investments and mindful of the contribution their homes add to the community makeup and image of Roseville as a desirablie placie to LiVe.
