This Fact Sheet depicts the ESTIMATED financial <br /> impact on varying home values based on the 2012 preliminary tax levy, proposed utility rate <br /> increases, and debt service impacts from the proposed bond financing for a new fire station and <br /> various park improvements. <br /> As of October 17, 2011 the City Council has made the following tentative commitments: <br /> V Raise an additional $588,000 annually by increasing the Property Tax Levy by 4% <br /> v Raise an additional $2.2 million annually to fund water and sewer infrastructure <br /> improvements by increasing the base fees to all water, sewer, and storm sewer customers <br /> by 60-65% <br /> v Issue $8 million in bonds to finance the construction of a new fire station <br /> v Issue $19 million in bonds to finance various park improvements <br /> It should be noted that as of October 17, 2011, final action has NOT been taken on any of these <br /> proposals. Final decisions are expected to be taken over the next couple of months. <br /> The financial impacts of these proposals are presented below for single-family homes.
