Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, October 24,2011 <br /> Page 5 <br /> Johnson moved, Pust seconded, approval of the requests by Pawn America Min- <br /> nesota LLC, 1715 N Rice Street, to renew their licenses to operate currency ex- <br /> change business in Roseville for the 2012 calendar year. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: McGehee; Willmus; Johnson; Pust; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> Award Contract for Audit Services <br /> As a bench handout, attached hereto and made a part hereof and as requested by <br /> Mayor Roe, Finance Director Chris Miller provided supplemental information re- <br /> garding the new audit services contract via an e-mail dated October 21, 2011. <br /> Johnson moved, Pust seconded, authorizing City staff to approve a three (3) year <br /> agreement for audit services with Kern, DeWenter, Viere (KDV), including the <br /> standard Professional Services Agreement. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: McGehee; Willmus; Johnson; Pust; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> j. Approve Contract with Karges-Faulconbridge,Inc. (KFI) to Update the Geo- <br /> thermal Master Plan for the Roseville City Campus <br /> Councilmember McGehee questioned if this company was the original installers <br /> of the City's geothermal system; with City Manager Malinen advising that they <br /> were the original designers of the system. <br /> Councilmember McGehee questioned if staff had information on the cost savings <br /> of the last three (3) years with the geothermal system in place. <br /> Mayor Roe asked that staff provide that information in report form to the City <br /> Council in the future. <br /> Johnson moved, Pust seconded, approval of a contract with KFI in the amount of <br /> $5,000.00 to update the City of Roseville Geothermal Master Plan for the Rose- <br /> ville City Campus using current data and incorporating the addition of the new <br /> fire station. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: McGehee; Willmus; Johnson; Pust; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> k. Information on Various Budget-Related Initiatives <br /> Councilmember McGehee apologized that this information had not been provided <br /> to the resident requesting it in the format they had originally requested. <br />
