City of Roseville <br />Ethics Commission Meeting Minutes <br />August 8, 2007 <br />Call to Order <br />Mike Schneider called the meeting to order. <br />Members Present <br />Mike Schneider, LuAnne Pederson, Melissa Weldon, David Apolloni and <br />Duane Cady <br />Others Present <br />City Manager Bill Malinen and City Attorney Scott Anderson <br />Handling Reports <br />The Commission discussed the guidelines for how the Commission handles <br />Reports. The Commission suggested some amendments to the document. <br />Attorney Scott Anderson will provide the amendments as discussed for <br />approval at the September meeting with line numbers and strike -out with <br />clean copy. <br />Advisory Opinions <br />The Commission discussed the guidelines for issuance of advisory opinions. <br />The Commission suggested some amendments to the document, specifically <br />relating to oral informal advice to employees not covered by the Code and <br />regular reporting on informal opinions. <br />Training <br />Attorney Anderson reported on his proposal for Ethics training and the <br />Commission discussed how the proposed training will be handled. <br />
