City of Roseville <br />Ethics Commission Meeting Minutes <br />May 14, 2008 <br />Call to Order: <br />Chairman Mike Schneider called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />Members Present: <br />Mike Schneider, LuAnne Pederson, Duane Cady <br />Members Absent: <br />Melissa Weldon <br />Others Present: <br />City Manager Bill Malinen, City Attorney Scott Anderson <br />Swearing in New Commissioner <br />Chairman Schneider administered the Oath of Office to incoming Commissioner Patrick <br />Schmidt. <br />The Commission briefly discussed the new Commissioner information packet and <br />materials and noted that the packet should be reviewed with the City Council as it shows <br />the efforts of the Commission over the past year. <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Pederson moved, Cady seconded approval of the meeting minutes of February 13, 2008 <br />as presented. Ayes all. <br />Discussion of Matters to be discussed with City Council <br />Reviewing the New Commissioner Information packet will encompass what the <br />Commission has accomplished as noted earlier. <br />Commission Chair <br />Set date for 2008 Training <br />The Commission asked the City Manager to arrange the training date in early November, <br />and discuss at the next meeting. <br />The Commission determined to discuss making annual training mandatory, and to place <br />on the next Commission meeting. <br />
