Meeting Minutes <br />Ethics Commission <br />February 11, 2009 <br />Page 2 <br />The Commission discussed ongoing ethics education by producing articles that could be <br />forwarded electronically to keep ethics issues at the forefront. They agreed to have <br />relevant articles provided to the City Manager, with the Commission to review and select <br />an article for staff to distribute. <br />Topics for Joint Meeting with City Council <br />The Commission discussed the following topics, with further items to be forwarded for <br />discussion at the May meeting: <br />1) Issue of mandatory training <br />2) Ethics opinions report <br />3) Posting of opinion summaries on line <br />2009 Meeting Schedule <br />The Commission agreed to quarterly meetings. <br />Pederson moved to reschedule the November meeting to November 4th. Weldon <br />seconded. Ayes all. <br />Annual review of Code of Ethics <br />Chairperson Pederson asked that Commissioners review the Code, and prepare any <br />suggestions for discussion at the next meeting <br />Other Business <br />Chairperson Pederson asked that the proposed electronic communications policy be <br />reviewed for comments to the City Council. <br />Attorney Anderson reported on an ethics inquiry. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 7:29 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />William J.
