City of Roseville <br />Ethics Commission Meeting Minutes <br />Wednesday, August 10, 2011 <br />L Call to Order <br />Chairperson Horsager called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. <br />Members Present: <br />Anne Collopy, Margo Fjelstad, David Horsager, Ben Lehman, and LuAnne Pederson <br />Members Absent: <br />None. <br />Others Present: <br />City Manager Bill Malinen and City Attorney Mark Gaughan <br />IL Approve Minutes of May 11, 2011 <br />Pederson moved, Lehman seconded, approval of the minutes of the May 11, 2011, as <br />presented. <br />Ayes all. <br />III. Review Joint Meeting with City Council <br />Reported on 2012 Budget amount of $1,000. <br />Recommended changes to the Ethics Code were adopted by the Council. <br />IV. Discuss 2012 Training Session <br />Ben Lehman and Margo Fjelstad volunteered and were accepted as the Committee to <br />work with the City Manager on the 2012 training. <br />Suggestions included making it "Roseville specific "; using the same format; and, to use <br />the Roseville attorney for Roseville part. <br />The Committee will provide a report at the November 9, 2011 meeting. <br />V. Ethics Tip <br />An Ethics Tip submitted by LuAnne Pederson, Hey, Friend, Can You Give Me a Hand? , <br />was approved by the Commission. <br />Anne Collopy will prepare next Ethics Tip. <br />VI. Other Business <br />City Manager reported there were no formal or informal Ethics opinions requested. <br />
