I June, 1988 <br />Sity of Roseville <br />Consideration of <br />Merchandise Display <br />41 <br />0of Zoning' Oirdinancz-, <br />Section 8.,350 is a list of' u�ses by <br />special permit in the general B-3 <br />District which includes as, items <br />15, and 16 <br />"'open sales <br />lots" and <br />11outdoor areas where merchandise,, <br />machinery, <br />or equipment <br />may be <br />displayed or stored". This provision <br />for outdoor <br />sales exists as <br />a special <br />use in the Bi-13 District only and "is <br />not listed in <br />other business <br />0 <br />districts. <br />Section 3.,610, Paragraph (18), is, the eighth pariagirap�h in a total of nine <br />relating to the, conditions for operating an automobile service station in <br />the City. Paragraph B states: <br />I'll V <br />Other Prioducts If service stations seill products other than gas, <br />oil,, and other petroleum products,, auto parts and accessories or <br />sales from minor vending machine p�rodluct,s, than all other retail <br />sales should be conducted only in compliance with all requirements <br />and conditions, of sales in B-3 Dist-ricts." <br />Th�is Paragraph is a notification that a special use permit for outdoor <br />sales w1jill be necessary if such outdoor, sales, are to be conducted at <br />a service station site,. <br />Section 8,11910 is one of a series of requirements listed in Chapter 8 of <br />the Zoning Ordinance entitled "General, Minimum Requirements" and <br />11 1 <br />Shall apply to, all buildings that may be erected, converted, or <br />structuirally altered in business districts' Section 8.190 states: <br />ItEnclosure of Certain Business Required., All business, storage, <br />serv,ice, repair or processing,, or nne,rchandise, display shall be <br />conducted wholly within an enclosed building or behind a solid <br />
