<br />Mr., Dahl,giren had suggested this amiendment,, "in that it would have i

<br />allowied an applicant requesting a parik,ing 'variance to go directly
<br />to the Council, with a professional study suggesting a moed
<br />parking ratio, This woiulid have the effect of expediting the
<br />varifiancle process by circumventing the Planning Commission.
<br />Although t,hei, members did not strongly believe they wanted to
<br />reco III end the amendment, tihree of the five members wanted thim
<br />language referred to the Council for considerat "ion.
