EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> 1 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> 2 of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 12th day of December, <br /> 3 2011, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 The following members were present: and the following members were <br /> 6 absent: . <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> 9 <br /> 10 RESOLUTION NO. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR <br /> 13 COUNTY ROAD B-2 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br /> 14 <br /> 15 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br /> 16 <br /> 17 WHEREAS, Ramsey County and the City of Roseville are working on a solution for <br /> 18 improvements to County Road B-2 between 500 feet west of Fairview Avenue and the <br /> 19 Snelling Avenue southbound ramps to address existing and future safety and operational <br /> 20 deficiencies; and <br /> 21 <br /> 22 WHEREAS,it is proposed to improve County Road B-2 between 500 feet west of Fairview <br /> 23 Avenue and the Snelling Avenue southbound ramps by one or more of the following <br /> 24 installations: bituminous paving,concrete paving,concrete curb and gutter,pathway,signal <br /> 25 reconstruction, storm sewer, and necessary appurtenances, and to assess the benefited <br /> 26 property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, <br /> 27 Section 429.011 to 429.111: <br /> 28 <br /> 29 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> 30 Minnesota that the proposed improvements are referred to the City Engineer for study and <br /> 31 she is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in a <br /> 32 preliminary way as to whether they should best be made as proposed,and the estimated cost <br /> 33 of the improvements as recommended. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> 36 Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br /> 37 voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: <br /> 38 <br /> 39 WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
