EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 9th day of February, 1987, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Cushman, Johnson, Kehr, Matson, and Wiski, and the following were absent: None. Member Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8106 DESIGNATING CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AS CITY'S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE WHEREAS, the City of Roseville and the Roseville Chamber of Commerce are pursuing Star City status; and, WHEREAS, the Chamber of Commerce has in place an Economic Development Advisory Committee; and, WHEREAS, the City has an excellent working relationship with the Chamber's Economic Development Advisory Committee; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City designates the Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Advisory Committee as the entity responsible for attainment of Star City status; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville designates the Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Advisory Committee to provide advice and recommendations relating to economic develop- ment in the City of Roseville. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Johnson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Johnson, Kehr, Matson, and Wiski, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
