<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVlLLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on Monday, tt.e sixteenth day of December, <br />1996, at 6:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Wiski, Goedeke, Mastel, Maschka, and Wall and the <br />following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Wiski introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 9365 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT, <br />APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, <br />AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />TWIN LAKES REGIONAL POND, ST-96-14 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on December 16, 1996, to consider the construction of a <br />regional stormwater pond for the Twin Lakes area, City Project ST-96-14; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, required mailed and published notices were given; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council, the city's consulting engineer, <br />BRW, Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for City Project ST -96-14 and has presented <br />such plans and specifications to the Council for approval: <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ofRoseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. City Project ST -96-14, a regional stormwater pond for the Twin Lakes redevelopment area, <br />is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, <br />are hereby approved. <br /> <br />3. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Focus, the official newspaper, <br />and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved <br />plans and specifications. The advertisement for bids shall be published as required by law, <br />shall specify the work to be done, shall call the bids on the basis of cash payment for such <br />work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Manager and Director of Public <br />Works on January 17, 1997, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by <br />the City Manager and subsequently be considered by the City Council; and that no bids will <br />
