<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota <br />was duly held on the 23rd day of March, 1987, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kehr, Matson, Cushman, and <br />Johnson, and the following were absent: Wiski. <br /> <br />Member Kehr introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8125 <br /> <br />SUPPORTING SCHOOL DISTRICT 623 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, School District 623 wants to refurbish and improve Fairview <br />Center; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant funds are available through <br />Ramsey County for such purposes; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, School District 623 is requesting funds to eliminate an <br />urgent health and safety threat relating to the removal of the <br />existing asbestos in the building; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, School District 623's proposal will have significant impact <br />on low and moderate income persons as a result of the expansion of the <br />Seniors' and other related programs at Fairview; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville is suppor- <br />tive of school District 623's Community Development Block Grant request, <br />and respectfully urges its funding. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Cushman, and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Kehr, Matson, Cushman, and <br />Johnson, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA) <br />) SS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY ) <br /> <br />I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified City Manager of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, do hereby certify <br />that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of <br />minutes of a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 23rd day <br />of March, 1987, with the original thereof on file in my office. <br /> <br />WITNESS MY HAND officially as such Manager this 25th day of March, <br />1987. <br /> <br />SEAL <br /> <br />SJ~d~. <br /> <br />~ James F.
