<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Rose vi lIe, County <br />of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on <br />Monday, the 13th day of January, 1997, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Goedeke, Mastel, and Wiski and the following were absent: <br />Wall. <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9367 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO APPORTIONMENT OF <br />ASSESSMENTS FOR THE YEAR 1997 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City ofRoseville, as follows: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the assessment rolls for various improvements in the City of Rose vi lIe were certified to the <br />County Auditor of the County of Ramsey, and since the certifications, a number of parcels of property <br />contained within said assessment rolls have been divided and conveyed, <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, said division requires that apportionment of the original assessments be made by the <br />City Council of the City ofRoseville in order that the proper assessment can be extended by the County <br />Auditor against each parcel of property thereafter, <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, during the year, numerous requests to apportion the original assessments on numerous <br />parcels are received by the City ofRoseville, <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, it would be more expedient to allow the Public Works Director or his assigned staff to <br />apportion the original assessments in as much as the City Council of the City ofRoseville approves all <br />apportionment prepared by city staff when requested, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rose vi lIe does hereby authorize the Public Works <br />Director or his assigned personnel to make the apportionment of original assessment against all of the <br />requested properties for the year of 1997, <br /> <br />The City Manager of the City of Rose vi lIe is hereby authorized to prepare a certified copy of this <br />resolution and to certify the same to the County Auditor of Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Goedeke and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Maschka, Goedeke, Mastel, and Wiski, <br />
