<br />Bidder <br /> <br />Amount <br /> <br />Shafer Contracting <br />Forest Lake Contracting <br /> <br />$627,812.40 <br />657,382.50 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Shafer Contracting is the lowest <br />responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $627,812.40. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed <br />to enter into a contract with Shafer Contracting for $627 812.40 <br />in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore <br />approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the <br />City Manager. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized authorized and <br />directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made <br />with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and <br />the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have <br />been signed. <br /> <br />The motion was seconded by Councilmember Matson and upon <br /> <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />All present; and the following voted against: None; whereupon <br /> <br />said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted <br /> <br />-2- <br />
