<br />of Lake Josephine by the Federal E.P. . , Minnesota P. CI. A e „ Minnesota, D N. R.
<br />Rice Cheek Watershed District, and the Ramsay County Parks and Recreation
<br />Department, inking the following statements

<br />2. Let the sunfish, crappies and, northern, pike exist with the carp

<br />Lynch reported that the D.N.R. proposers to poison the lake, which will
<br />kill alb! the fish, noted that the lee has a lot of carp& and this is
<br />the only way to rid the lake of carp. Lynch noted that they will then
<br />re-stock the lake *.
<br />Lynch said Lake Josephine is 118 acres in area, therefore, according to
<br />D. N'. R,m it has the authority to build a public, access (any lake of 100
<br />acres or more in the metro area)4l Lynch, noted that the only public property
<br />an the lake is at the beach location, which means the boat access will
<br />be adjacent to the beach, area, a vary" dangerous combination of uses Q,
<br />Lynch explained that County Ditch 4 reads upgrading, Federal government
<br />will finance the upgrading only if the public, access on Lake Josephine
<br />goes ice. Lynch explained that their biggest concern is that Lake Josephine
<br />is -goo small for sip additional power, beats next to the public, beach
<br />concern is for safety 4l
