Q A I I 101:20I.&INIZ, <br />10, <br />107,411411 <br />PURPOSE,: To establish clear and consistent procedures for enforcement of <br />Roseville Ordinances controlling domest'lic animals. <br />POLICY: Vicious Animals - Animal BiLtes: All animals which have bitten any <br />person shall be impounded for a mini=Mi pe,rlood of ten days at the expense of <br />the owner. <br />In all ordinary cases, animaIs will be inpounded at the Brighton Veterinary <br />01 9 <br />Cllinlicl,, 2625 Missi'Lssippi Street,, New Brighton, Minnesota, 55112, <br />Impounidlinq of the animal, at the residence of the owner may be permitted only <br />if all of the following conditions exist. <br />1) The lowner produces a valid certificate of a veterinarian establishing <br />that the animal has been, vaccinated for rabies within one year pre- <br />ceding the bite. <br />If an an,imal, has, biltten a, person and, has not been taken into custody and <br />cannot be lolicated,, a supervisor should be inanediately notified. All reasonabl <br />vw-f'foirt must be expended to prevent the bite victim from being subjected to <br />riabii es treatment. <br />AUTHORITY: Roseville Ordinance Section 1145.1210 and 145-040. <br />
