<br />Pu rsuant to due call and noitice, thereof., 'a regular meeting of the City Council
<br />of the City of Roseville, Minnesota,, was, duly, called and held at the City Hall
<br />9 7:30 pm.

<br />WHEREAS., the City, of Roseville, desilires to assist families and individuals gin
<br />a
<br />making energy improvements for the purpose of increasing the energy efficiency
<br />oif their home,si and
<br />WHEREAS., the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency has funds to be used for such
<br />purploses, and will contract with the Metropolitan Council to administer these
<br />Solar Blank Deferred Loan Funds; and

<br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has been designated a housing and redevelopment
<br />authority pursuant toi Minnesota Statutes Section 4,73.195 with the powers and duties
<br />of' a housing and rile dev e I opment authority under the Provisions of the Minnesota
<br />E-iousing and Redevelopment, Authority Acti; and
<br />WHEREAS, under the Provisions of Minnesota, Statutes Section 473.195, the Metropolitan
<br />Council must obtain the approval of' the governing body of any munIcipality in which
<br />it proposes to implement the Solar iii Loa
<br />NOW, THEREFOREP BE IT RESOLVED, that the City, of Roseville hereby authorizes the
<br />Metropolitan Council to impilement the Solar Bank Deferred Loan Program for the
<br />purpose of increasing the energy efficiency of homes in the City of Roseville, and
<br />that the City Administrator, James, F. Andre, is hereby authorized to enter into any
<br />nec,esisariy, agreement, with the Metropoli'tan Council for operating the prograim within
<br />the City.1
