EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 12'' day of December, <br /> 2011, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Johnson, Willmus, McGehee, Pust and Roe <br /> and the following members were absent: none. <br /> Councilmember Pust introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 10954 <br /> 'RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR <br /> RICE STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, Ramsey County the City of Roseville and surrounding communities are <br /> working on a solution for improvements to Rice Street between Transit Avenue and County <br /> Road C2 to address existing and future safety and operational deficiencies; and <br /> WHEREAS,it is proposed to improve Rice Street between Transit Avenue and County Road <br /> C2 by one or more of the following installations: bituminous paving, concrete paving, <br /> concrete curb and gutter, pathway, signal reconstruction, storm sewer, and necessary <br /> appurtenances, and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the <br /> improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.011 to 429.111: <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> Minnesota that the proposed improvements are referred to the City Engineer for study and <br /> she is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed,advising the Council in a <br /> preliminary way as to whether they should best be made as proposed,and the estimated cost <br /> of the improvements as recommended. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> Councilmember McGehee and upon vote being taken thereon,the following voted in favor <br /> thereof: Johnson, Willmus, McGehee, Pust and Roe <br /> and the following voted against the same: none. <br /> WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
