The purpose of the meetings wa <br />to explain the, objectives of the City <br />• they relate to our Tax increment <br />Plan. The objectiLve being tio develop thie tax 'increment areas with intense <br />business uses.1 I <br />a consequence of I and 2 above., a higher, quality project is more <br />likely,, depending of course on the capacity of the particular developer. <br />4) The City, is involved wIth one entity. <br />0 & <br />This, approach, takes the vilew the present environment of the area is an <br />important reason why, control, over the entire B-14 area 'is essential, Because <br />some of these properties could very likely remain for many years, it reduces <br />the likelihood of an initial high quality 'intense business use. Thi's 'is not <br />to say quality development could or would not occur, but a higher quality is <br />moire likely, under a, controlled situationO <br />
