SECURITY AND PURPOSE The Bonds will be general obligations of the City for which the City will pledge its fuill faith and credit and power to levy direct general ad valorem taxes. The proceeds will be uised to finance puiblic safety and open space im provem ants. Proposals shall be for not less than $10,000,000 (Par) and accruied interest on the total principal am�ouin�t of the Bonds. N�o proposal can be withdrawn or amended after the time set for receiving proposals uin�less the meeting of the City sch�eduiled for award of the Bonds is adjourned, recessed, or con�tin�uied to another data with�ouit award of the Bonds having been made. Rates shall be in integral m�uiltiples of 5/100 or 1/8 of 1%. Rates are not requiired to be in level or ascending order; however, the rate for any m�atuirity cannot be more than 1% lower than the highest rate of any of the preceding m�atuirities.
