<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly <br />held on the 8th day of June, 1987, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Cushman, Matson, Kehr, Johnson, <br />and Wiski, and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Wiski introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8143 <br /> <br />FRANK ROG <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Frank Rog has served the City with dedication and distinction <br />as Director of Parks and Recreation for twenty-seven years; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, His years of service have been marked by exemplary dedication <br />to the betterment of the City's Parks and Recreation Programs and <br />facilities, especially Central Park, which has grown into the center- <br />piece of an outstanding park system; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Frank has led the development of a municipal recreation <br />program that is well known and admired as among the very best; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Frank has now announced he will retire on June 30, 1987; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, does hereby express its sincere appreciation for Frank's <br />distinguished service, and commends him for his outstanding leader- <br />ship, and also extends its congratulations and best wishes for <br />continued success in his future endeavors. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Cushman, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Johnson, Kehr, Matson, and <br />wiski, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
