EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 8th day of June, 1987, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Cushman, Matson, Kehr, Johnson, and Wiski, and the following were absent: None. Member Wiski introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8143 FRANK ROG WHEREAS, Frank Rog has served the City with dedication and distinction as Director of Parks and Recreation for twenty-seven years; and, WHEREAS, His years of service have been marked by exemplary dedication to the betterment of the City's Parks and Recreation Programs and facilities, especially Central Park, which has grown into the center- piece of an outstanding park system; and, WHEREAS, Frank has led the development of a municipal recreation program that is well known and admired as among the very best; and, WHEREAS, Frank has now announced he will retire on June 30, 1987; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the City Council of the City of Roseville, does hereby express its sincere appreciation for Frank's distinguished service, and commends him for his outstanding leader- ship, and also extends its congratulations and best wishes for continued success in his future endeavors. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Cushman, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Johnson, Kehr, Matson, and wiski, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
