Planning Commission Meeting <br />Minutes – Wednesday, March 02, 2011 <br />Page 20 <br />Josephine Road that shouldn’t be lost; however, opined that this project didn’t add <br />973 <br />unfairly to current conditions, and needed to be addressed in a different way. <br />974 <br />Chair Boerigter spoke in support of the proposed project and expressed his appreciation <br />975 <br />of the good comments heard from citizens tonight, showing that residents cared about <br />976 <br />their neighborhood. Chair Boerigter opined that the proposal appeared to be well thought <br />977 <br />out and was a good proposal, and a much needed project in Roseville. Chair Boerigter <br />978 <br />opined that this project didn’t appear to make opening of County Road C2 prudent at this <br />979 <br />time; and whether it was opened or not as part of this project, projected traffic volume <br />980 <br />increases had minimal impact on Josephine Road, and may prove necessary in the long- <br />981 <br />term. Chair Boerigter noted that the tree preservation and drainage issues would be <br />982 <br />addressed throughout the development process by staff and Pulte Homes. <br />983 <br />Ayes: 5 <br />984 <br />Nays: 0 <br />985 <br />Motion carried. <br />986 <br />Mr. Paschke noted that this case was tentatively scheduled to be heard by the City <br />987 <br />Council at their March 21, 2011 meeting. <br />988 <br />Chair Boerigter and City Planner Paschke noted that this was the last meeting for <br />989 <br />Members Gottfried and Best and thanked them for their service to the City on the <br />990 <br />Planning Commission. <br />991 <br />6.
