Ms. Kelsey noted that the HRA had received three (3) applications, two (2) of
38
which had incorporated qualifying green improvements, and one (1) new home construction
39
using green technology. Ms. Kelsey noted that the new home had been featured in the FOR
40
parks Program; and was highlighted on the display boards throughout the meeting room at
41
tonight’s meeting; and encouraged individual HRA members to view those home
42
improvements. Ms. Kelsey further noted that one of the homeowners had their energy audit
43
prior to doing any improvements to target those areas needing energy improvement, and had
44
included insulation, window replacements and a geothermal system installed; all with great
45
results. Ms. Kelsey noted that the homes would also be featured at the upcoming Roseville
46
Living Smarter Home and Garden Fair; with the intent to continue the program and feature it at
47
the 2012 Living Smarter Home and Garden Fair as well.
48
49
Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, none of the homeowners were unable to attend
50
tonight’s meeting to receive their check and certificate.
51
52
b.Living Smarter Home and Garden Fair Sponsor Recognition
53
Chair Maschka announced Roseville’s Living Smarter Home and Garden Fair this coming
54
weekend, Saturday, February 19, 2011; and on behalf of the HRA, thanked this year’s sponsors
