<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly <br />held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, <br />on Monday, the eighth day of July, 1987, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Cushman, Matson, Kehr, Johnson, and <br />Wiski. <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8146 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE PARTIAL RELEASE OF EASEMENT <br />OVER VACATED TERRACE DRIVE BETWEEN MILLWOOD AND FERNWOOD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville held a public hearing on June 25, 1962, <br />to consider the vacation of Terrace Drive from the east property line of <br />Merrill Street to a point 120 feet east of Merrill Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council vacated that portion of Terrace Drive but <br />retained a utility easement over the entire vacation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property located at 2820 Merrill street was recently <br />surveyed finding the detached garage encroaching on the retained utility <br />easement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the existing utility line within the retained easement is not <br />in jeopardy because of the encroachment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville as follows: <br /> <br />The city staff is ordered to prepare the necessary documents to <br />release the south 11 feet of the utility easement over that portion <br />of vacated Terrace Drive lying between the east property line of <br />Merrill Street and a point 120 feet east of the east line of <br />Merrill Street. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Kehr and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br /> <br />following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Matson, Kehr, Johnson, and <br />Wiski. <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
