HRA Meeting <br />Minutes – September 13, 2011 <br />Page 4 <br />1 <br />10.Information Reports and Other Business (Verbal Reports by Staff and Board Members) <br />2 <br />Ms. Kelsey provide an updated foreclosure map with comparisons; and advised that compared to <br />3 <br />Ramsey County remaining flat, the apparent uptick for the City of Roseville foreclosures was related to <br />4 <br />the current economy and a result of lost jobs and late mortgage payments finally catching up with the <br />5 <br />system. Ms. Kelsey advised that staff would continue to monitor the situation and update the HRA. <br />6 <br />Ms. Kelsey advised that staff continued to provide financial assistance information and available <br />7 <br />resources through its website and as calls were received. <br />8 <br />9 <br />Ms. Kelsey noted that the City Council had dedicated their September 19, 2011 meeting for a long- <br />10 <br />range planning session and had invited the HRA to attend and participate. To-date, Ms. Kelsey advised <br />11 <br />that Chair Maschka, Mr. Trudgeon, and she would be attending, and invited other HRA members as <br />12 <br />well. <br />13 <br />14 <br />Ms. Kelsey advised that Mayor Roe had appointed, and the City Council had ratified, Ms. Debora <br />15 <br />Battisto as the newest member of the HRA; and that she would be sworn in at the October HRA <br />16 <br />meeting; with staff providing an orientation for Ms. Battisto next week. <br />17 <br />18 <br />11.
