Parks and Recreation Needs Assessment Experience <br /> NEEDS ASSESSMENT SURVEY AS A COMPONENT OF A PARKS, RECREATION, & <br /> OPEN SPACE MASTER PLAN (2007) <br /> Atlanta, Georgia <br /> The City of Atlanta is currently conducting a Community Attitude and Interest Survey to <br /> determine the need for future parks, greenspace, trails, recreation facilities, programs, and <br /> services within the City. The survey was designed to obtain statistically valid results from <br /> households throughout the City of Atlanta. The survey was administered by a combination of <br /> mail and phone. <br /> Leisure Vision worked extensively with City of Atlanta officials in the development of the <br /> survey questionnaire. This work included conducting a series of stakeholder interviews and <br /> focus groups in the City of Atlanta.
