Parks and Recreation Needs Assessment Experience <br /> NEEDS ASSESSMENT SURVEY FOR STRATEGIC PLAN (2003) (2010) <br /> Champaign Park District, Champaign, Illinois <br /> Leisure Vision conducted a statistically valid mail/phone survey in 2003 for this community of <br /> 70,000 residents. The survey was used as a key component of a strategic planning effort that IS <br /> conducted by park district staff, which includes major planning for renovation and expansion of <br /> outdoor and indoor programming areas, trails, aquatic facilities, theater spaces, etc. <br /> More than 800 surveys were completed through a combination of a mail/phone survey.
