Parks and Recreation Needs Assessment Experience <br /> NEEDS ASSESSMENT SURVEY AS COMPONENT OF FEASIBILITY STUDY (2006) <br /> Roanoke County,Virginia <br /> Leisure Vision conducted a Community Attitude and Interest Survey during April and May of <br /> 2006 to help guide future improvements to the County's parks, greenways, open space, <br /> recreation facilities and programs. The survey was designed to obtain statistically valid results <br /> from households throughout Roanoke County. The survey was administered by a combination <br /> of mail and phone. The goal was to obtain a total of at least 800 completed surveys. This goal <br /> was accomplished, with a total of 1,021 surveys having been completed. The results of the <br /> random sample of 1,021 households have a 95% level of confidence with a precision of at least <br /> +/-3.1%. <br /> AQUATIC CENTER FEASIBILTY STUDY SURVEY (2006) <br /> Ontario, Oregon <br /> Leisure Vision conducted a Community Attitude and Interest Citizen Survey during August and <br /> September of 2006 for Ontario, Oregon to establish priorities for the future of the existing <br /> Ontario Aquatic Center in the community. The survey was designed to obtain statistically valid <br /> results from households throughout the City of Ontario and the surrounding area. The survey <br /> was administered by a combination of mail and phone. The goal was to obtain a total of at least <br /> 300 completed surveys. This goal was accomplished, with a total of 351 surveys having been <br /> completed. The results of the random sample of 351 households have a 95% level of confidence <br /> with a precision of at least+/-5.2%. <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION NEEDS ASSESSMENT SURVEY (2006) <br /> Sheridan, Wyoming <br /> Leisure Vision worked with the Sheridan Recreation District, Sheridan, Wyoming on completion <br /> of a Needs Assessment Survey. The survey was administered by mail and phone to a random <br /> sampling of 400 households in the Sheridan Park District. Issues on the Needs Assessment <br /> Survey focused on a full-range of usage, satisfaction, and priority issues facing the Sheridan <br /> Recreation District. The statistically valid survey was administered in April of 2006. Extensive <br /> cross-tabular analysis of survey results was conducted to test results by various demographic <br /> groups, including comparisons to our national benchmarking database. <br /> Leisure Vision Needs Assessment Experience- 41 <br />
