<br />THIS GRANT AGREEMENT (.'Agreement"'), 1* s made and entered, into by the Metropolitan
<br />Council ("Council"), and the Municipality or Development Authority identified above as "Grantee."

<br />the uses of which fimd must be consistent with and promote the purposes of the Metropolitan Livable

<br />Communities Act ("LCA") and the policies olf the Council's Metropolitan Development Guide; and

<br />Development, Authorities for projects located 'in eligible Municipalities.; and

<br />WHEREAS,, the Grantee Municipallity that has negotiated affordable and life-icycle housing
<br />goals pursuant to Minnesota Statutes section 473.2541, subdivision 2 and, has elected to participate 'in
<br />the Local flousing, Incentives Account program, or is, a, Development Authority; and

<br />NMEREAS1.1 the Grantee seeks, fanding in connection with an application for Local Housing
<br />Incentives Account fLmds, submitted, in response, to a, Request for Proposals issued by the Metropolitan
<br />Housing Implementation Group for the "Funding Cycle" identified above and will use the grant fimds
<br />made available under ftfis Agreement, to, help fund the "Projecf " identified in, the, appl ication; and
<br />WHEREAS, the Coluncil awarded Local, Housing Incentives Account fimds to the Grantee subject to
<br />the Cloun,c,ill's eminent domain policy and, any terms, conditions, and clan" fications stated in its Council
<br />Action, and with the understanding, that the Project identified in the application will proceed to
<br />completion in a timely manner and, all grant funds, will be expeinded prior to the "Expiration Date"
<br />identified above,,,,
<br />NOW THEREFORE; . in reliance on, the above statements and in consideration olf'the mutual
