k" <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 07/11/11 <br />Item No.: 7. d <br />City Manager Approval <br />Item Description: Central Park Foundation One Day Gambling License <br />The Roseville Central Park Foundation has applied for an Exemption from Lawful Gambling Licensing <br />Requirements to conduct lawful gambling activities on September 23, 2011 at the Roseville Skating <br />Center Community Room located at 2661 Civic Center Drive. <br />The Minnesota Charitable Gambling Regulations allow any nonprofit organization, which conducts <br />lawful gambling for less than five (5) days per year, and total prizes do not exceed $,50,000.00 in value, <br />to be exempt from the licensing requirements if the city approves. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />15 Motion approving the Roseville Central Park Foundations request to conduct a raffle on September 23, <br />116 2011 at the Roseville Skating Center located at 2261 Civic Center Drive. <br />1 ��7 <br />Page I of I <br />
