Prior to the <br />36 construction of Twin Lakes Parkway, this intersection had three legs. Introducing a fourth leg as <br />37 well as planning for background growth, the dual left turn lanes are necessary. <br />39 The preliminary layout for this improvement is attached. <br />40 POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />4 'i These improvements are identified in the Twin Lakes AUAR as traffic mitigation. By <br />42 approving the submission of the STP Funding Application, the City is taking a proactive step <br />43 to leveraae external funds to assist with the construction of the public roadways and utilities <br />44 within the Twin Lakes Area. <br />45 FINANCIAL IMPACTS <br />46 STP funds can only be applied to construction costs, and a local match of 20% is required. <br />47 Engineering costs are solely the responsibility of the City.
