Department Approval <br />��S�E <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date.- 6/13/2011 <br />Item No..- 9.b <br />Acting City Manager Approval <br />Item Description.- Ordinance Amending Title 7 Chapter 706, Forestation Control (new Urban Forest <br />Management), and Title 2 Chapter 203.04 0, Duties and Functions of the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission <br />I BACKGROUND <br />2 A <br />requirement of the Emerald Ash Borer Preparedness Grant, received in 2010 was to <br />3 update the City Forestation Con�trol Ordin�anice to in�clude Emerald Ashy Borer (E AB) and other <br />4 forest pests.
