EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville,, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 25th day of July, 2011, at 6.-00 o'clock p.m. The following members were present.* and and the following were absent.- Councilmember Punt introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption.- RESOLUTION No. RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS FOR WEST SNELLING DRIVE SIDEWALK PROJECT WHEREAS,, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at 10.-00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the followina bids were received COMDlvina with the advertisement.- Contractor Bid 0' Malley Construction $,52,431.51 Bailey Construction $56,455.00 CMogren, Inc. $59, 938.00 Urban Companies $70978.00 WHEREAS,, it appears that O'Malley Construction, of Le Center, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $52,431.51, and NOW,, THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota.- 1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with O'Malley Construction, of Le Center, Minnesota for $,52,431.51 in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer. 2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed.
