The trip generation estimates were calculated <br />based on the number of beds proposed within the facility, using the 2008 ITE Trip Generation <br />Reports, as shown in Table 2. Since the peak hour (highest trip generation) for this type of <br />facility does not typically coincide with the peak hour of the adjacent street traffic, the peak hour <br />of the generator was used as a worst-case scenario. Based on the data collected for the ITE Trip <br />Generation Reports, the peak hour for assisted living facilities typically occurs at 7.-00 a.m. and <br />3.-00 p.m., due to the employee shifts.
