5. PAYMENT OF COSTS OF PROJECT 2 5.1 The costs of the Project will be paid for with available Federal Funds. Total 3 Amount awarded.- $,1,331,878 Federal Funds are designated for the following categories.- 4 Project development, planning, and design, 13 1,000 5 Education and promotion: $ 10,000 6 Construction: $1,190,878 7 8 5.2 Any Federal eligible construction costs for the project that are not covered by 9 Federal Funds shall be shared by the Cities. The cost split will be based on a proportionate share 10 of the project cost in each individual City. Cost split based on the Engineer's Estimate.- 30% 11 Falcon Heights, 70% Roseville. 12 5.3 Any Federal eligible project development, planning and design costs shall be 13 shared equally by the Cities. These will include, but not be limited to, the services identified in 14 Article 6 hereof, all costs related to obtaining all necessary permits and approvals for the Project, 15 costs incurred in agreements, and any and all other costs associated with the Project. 16 5.4 Any non- Federal eligible costs for the project shall be paid for by the City in 17 which the cost is incurred. 18 5.5 All invoices or requests for payment will be approved and paid by Roseville. 19 Within 10 days of the end of each calendar month, Roseville shall provide a statement to Falcon 20 Heights showing the prior month's activity, the invoices received, the full costs of services 21 provided by Roseville staff, and the amount Falcon Heights owes to Roseville for the Project and 22 for items outside of the Project, such as those in sections 2.3 hereof Within 30 days of the 23 receipt of that statement,, Falcon Heights shall provide in writing a list and explanation of any 24 amounts it disputes and pay the undisputed amount. Any disputes regarding payment shall be 25 resolved through the dispute resolution process contained in Article 7 hereof. 26 5.6 If this Agreement is terminated for any reason, both cities shall nevertheless be 27 liable for the payment of their cost share which is incurred up to the date of termination of this 28 Agreement, or as a result of termination of this Agreement.
