Department Approval <br />l <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />FWj a t e.- 08/18/08 <br />Ftem No..- 13A <br />City Manager Approval <br />Item Description.- Additional Information on the 2009 City Manager Recommended Budget <br />I BACKGROUND <br />2 On August 11, 2008 the City Council received the 2009 City Manager Recommended Budget. During the <br />3 subsequent discussion, the Council requested some additional information on; added taxpayer impacts <br />4 resulting from the geothermal refrigeration system,, notation of items in the 2009 CIP that have been <br />5 included in the 2009 Recommended Budget (denoted with an asterisk)�, and more detailed line-item <br />6 budgets. The Council also inquired about other types of budget-related information which will be <br />"7 forthcoming. <br />9 Preparation of the line item budgets and formatting them for public viewing is expected to take another <br />I ('_) week or two.
