9 Item Description: Designation of Official Bank Signatories for 2008 <br />10 <br />12 Background <br />13 State Statute requires the City to designate officials with the authority to sign checks for Payment <br />14 of goods and services. This includes checks processed through the City's payroll and accounts <br />15 payable systems. <br />16 <br />17 Traditionally, the Mayor, City Manager, and Finance Director have been designated as <br />18 authorized individuals. <br />19 <br />20 Staff Recommendation <br />21 Staff recommends that Mayor Craig Klausing,, City Manager Bill Malinen., ana Pinance Director <br />22 Chris Miller be designated as official signatories for 2008. <br />23 <br />24 Council Action xequested <br />25 Adopt the attached resolution designating the Mayor, City Manager, and Finance Director as <br />26 official signatories for 2008. <br />0 <br />
