Mayor Klausing ruled the motion failed due to, lack of a second. <br />Mayor Klausing opined, that the Council needed to adhere to their established rules, rather <br />than rewarding inefficiencies. <br />Due to the lateness of the hour, there was no time to discuss or act on the following <br />items: <br />h. 'Tax Ii-icrement Financing (TIF) District — Consider Extending TIF District #4 <br />(Centre Pointe) for Environmental Cleanup in Twin Lakes <br />i. Discuss City Council Rules and Procedures <br />Mayor Klausing suggested thl's be a part of the City Council's discussion of revis- <br />ing its Rules of Procedure. <br />b. Councilmember Roe noted the need to p,rioceed with the review process of the <br />City Manager; and asked that a draft review form be included on the next Council <br />agenda for City Council review and comment. <br />N <br />C. Councilmember Roe noted the need 'in the near future to have an agenda item t* <br />B <br />discuss the City's 60th Anniversary activities and events in 2008. <br />Counicilmember Roe noted a request of the National Guard An-nory to form a citi <br />zen committee; and suggested that they be invited to make a presentation to ti <br />City Council to solicit members from the City Council and/or community.
