EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 22nd day of June, 1987, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Cushman, Matson, Kehr, Johnson, and Wiski, and the following were absent: None. Member Matson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8154 Supporting Submission of Ramsey County Community Development Block Grant WHEREAS, The City of Roseville is interested in providing housing opportunity to low and moderate income persons; and, WHEREAS, The City of Roseville has a growing and significant number of Senior Citizens; and, WHEREAS, Villa Park and Miller Mortgage are interested in developing a program to assist low and moderate income Seniors purchase Villa Park condominiums; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Roseville City Council supports submission of a Community Development Block Grant to Ramsey County requesting $250,000 to facilitate low and moderate income Seniors' purchase of condominiums in the Villa Park development. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Johnson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Matson, Kehr, Johnson, and Wiski, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
