94 1013.09: INTERIM, USE: <br />95 A. Authorized by City Council: The City Council may authorize an interim use of property. <br />96 Interim use might not be consistent with the land uses designated on the adopted Land <br />9 7' Use Plan. They might also fail to meet all of the zoning standards established for the <br />98 district within which it is located. <br />99 B. Conditions For Interim Use.- The City Council may attach conditions to interim use <br />100 permits. In reviewing interim use permit applications, the City will establish a specific <br />10 1 date or event that will terminate the use on the property. The City Council will also <br />102, determine that the approval of the interim use would not result in adverse effects on the <br />103 public health, safety and welfare and that it will not impose additional costs on the public <br />104 if it is necessary for the public to take the property in the future. <br />105 C. Open House: Prior to submitting an application for approval of an interim use, an <br />106 applicant shall hold an open house meeting with residents and property owners in <br />10 7' the vicinity of the interim use location. <br />M 1. Purpose: To provide a convenient forum for engaging community members in <br />0 9 the development process, to describe the proposal in detail, and to answer questions <br />0 and solicit feedback. <br />2. Timing: The open house shall be held not more than thirty (30) days prior to the <br />2, submission of an application for interim use approval and shall be held on a <br />3 weekday evening beginning between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and ending by 10:00 <br />�5 3. Location: The open house shall be held at a location in or near the neighborhood <br />�6 affected by the proposed interim use, and in the case of an interim use near <br />7' Roseville's boundaries) preferably in Roseville. In the event that such a meeting <br />8 space is not available the applicant shall arrange for the meeting to be held at the <br />9 City Hall Campus. <br />2,0 4. Invitations: The applicant shall prepare a printed invitation indentifying the <br />2, "l date, time, place, and purpose of the open house and shall mail the invitation to the <br />2,2, recipients in a list prepared and provided in electronic format by Community <br />2,3 Development Department staff. The recipients will include property owners within <br />24 five hundred feet (500') of the subject property,, members of the Planning <br />�2,5 Commission and City Council, and other community members that have registered <br />� 2,6 to receive the invitations. <br />� 2 7' 5. Summary: A written summary of the open house shall be submitted as a <br />� 2,8 necessary component of an application for interim use approval. <br />� 2,9 D. Application.- Applications for interim uses shall be processed in the same manner as <br />M conditional use permits as established in Section 1014.01 of this Title.
