Additional funding may be used from participating groups to enhance the project. <br />31 Regular ongoing maintenance will continue to address the problems that are not a part of the adopted <br />34 current PIP projects to insure completely safe facilities. <br />The approved funding level for 2008 is $215,000. <br />"I 1 <br />1 5 FINANCIAL IMPACTS <br />$215,000 has been approved in the 2008 City Budget for implementation of the PIP. Funding many times is <br />accumulated over a couple of y ars or coordinated with outside funding sources to complete a project. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Based on the completion and analysis of the PIP evaluation process and the unanimous recommendation of <br />the Parks and Recreation Commission, staff recommends that the Council approve the following projects <br />totaling $215,000: <br />ITEM AMOUNT <br />1. Replace one bridge 9 Central Park Dale Street $ 309000 <br />2. Tennis court repairs/upgrades $ 159000 <br />3. Central Park Dale Street play equipment replacement <br />(cooperative project with additional funding from the <br />Friends of Roseville Parks) $ 50,000 <br />4. Valley Park play equipment replacement $ 50,000 <br />5. Various playgrounds in need of safety surface improvements $ 7,000 <br />6. Participate in Ramsey County 1000 bench grant program $ 69300 <br />7. Central Park amphitheatre improvements (cooperative project with <br />additional funding from the Roseville Central Park Foundation) $ 29,700 <br />8. HANC large window replacement $ 2,000 <br />9. HANC roof repairs $ 10,000 <br />10.
