"LJariiet Alexander Nature Center is a valued community resource; a place to learn, a place to play, <br />a place to tae a place to escape. <br />Study, analyze, and guide the Roseville Harriet Alexander Nature Center in short and long tern- <br />,opportunities. <br />Align with Imagine Roseville 2025 report <br />The Harrie't Alexander Nature Center (HANC) is a highly prized and valued asset to Roseville. <br />o HA NC, is, a community asset-, <br />0 Serving as an education and recreation based natural resource. <br />91 Adding preservation and conservation value to the community. <br />Over time, operating expenses, have increased to levels significant enough to require re-visiting HANG's <br />mission, purpose and viability. <br />Through Parks & Recreation Staff and City Council approval, a "HANC Planning Committee" consisting of <br />community volunteers was formed to provide recommendations on improving HANG for either narrowing <br />the financial gap or increasing facility usage. <br />HIAN�C Planning Committee met on a monthly basis for over a period of a year — usually the fourth <br />Thursday from 61,30- 8301 PM. <br />0 The Committee considered incremental improvements, as well as re-thinking the use of the facility and <br />groundls. <br />0 The Committee has outlined its recommendations in this report which is to be presented to the Roseville <br />Parks and Recreation Commission. <br />Is Recommendations-. <br />1.
