First of all, we wanted to thank your management company for seeing to 'it that the <br />liattice fencing was addled to the gap at the bottom of the new wooden fence. We have noticed <br />that there is much less trash blowing through to the residential side of the fence. The lattice <br />fencinggas an attractive solution to the problem and we hope that a little landscaping or sod will. <br />be added tio the mall side of the fence to crease its attractiveness and keep the weeds down. <br />I have a request. Since Cub Foods opened 'in the mall about I 1/2.years ago, there has been a very <br />lar 1 not' ceable from our home. In general, delivery <br />ge increase 'n truck traffic which is very 1 <br />trucks have been following the delivery hours, However,, on occasion, delivery trucks will arrive <br />before 7:00 a.m. mid park along the fence near our home or in the main parking area with the <br />,engine running. There have been occasions when a semi will arrive during the night and camp <br />in the lot with the engine running. When this happens, we call mall security and they ask the <br />driver to move. The engine noise rumbles into our bedroom and when the windows are open, the <br />diesel fumies are noxious and unhealthy. As I said, mall slecurlity has been responsive when we <br />call, but it is frustrating to, be awakened in the night or early morning, make a phone call and <br />the lie awake until the truck moves. It is often difficult do get back to sleep. <br />I would like to suggest a, solution. Could you p9st signs throughout the parking lot prohibiting <br />trucks from running her engines, ? The Shoreview Village Mall at Lexington and Highway 96, <br />has signs Poste din their lot which read, "ABSOLUTELY NO SEMI PARKf No, ".
